Troubleshooting

This page lists a few useful checks when VTX does not behave as expected.

Logs

VTX writes log files in its logs/ folder. The exact location depends on the package type and is described in the Installation page.

When reporting a bug or a crash, include the latest log file if possible.

Bug reports

When opening a bug report, include:

• The VTX version or release package used.
• Your operating system.
• The input file or structure identifier, if the issue is data-specific.
• Steps to reproduce the issue.
• The latest log file from the logs/ folder.
